Ayurveda - The Science of Life

Ayurveda is the "science of life", developed in India over the last 5000 years by ayurvedic practitioners, seers and natural scientist. The principles mandate a preventative approach to health through the use of integrative medicine and lifestyle. Mental and physical health are irrevocably intertwined and balance between them must be achieved to have harmony in health.

A healthy person is capable of dealing with exposure to viruses, bacteria, carcinogens, allergens with limited affect on their overall health. A person with a weakened immune system and poor diet may succumb to colds, influenza, cancer, diabetes, stress disorders, migraine headaches and other chronic diseases.

Using natural therapies, intelligently regulated Ayurvedic diet, meditative techniques, yoga, and many other practices to achieve health and harmony. Each person is unique, and must follow their own path to understanding how Ayurveda may help them to gain a higher quality of life using Ayurvedic science to improve their health.
